Class Descriptions

Gentle Chair Yoga: Increase vitality, gain a deeper sense of balance, and find your inner calm. This class combines meditation, easy warm-ups, light stretches, and gentle yoga postures with deep breath awareness to enhance a sense of well-being.  Open to all experience and ability levels.  All needed materials are provided.  Tisha teaches this class at Seniors Plus in Lewiston on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00-10:00 am.  See schedule page of the website for more information. 

 

Paddleboard Yoga at Windsurfing Maine on Androscoggin Lake in Leeds, ME:  Experience the peace and calm of a yoga practice on the tranquil waters of Androscoggin Lake.  Find joy and serenity in this gentle all-levels yoga class.   Take time to experience the beauty of your surroundings, find your breath in a new way, stretch and move and feel fantastic while you appreciate the serenity of nature around you.  You will feel refreshed and renewed during and after your practice. Paddleboards, paddles, and life preservers are supplied.  This class is offered during the months of June, July, and August.  Tisha is also available to take your private group out during this time.  Call to inquire (207) 754-0931.

 

Storybook Yoga: Encourage creativity, joyful play, and enlighten young minds with the magic of fun yoga postures and movements while recounting some of the world’s most delightful stories in a way that enhances literacy and vibrant physical health. Your child will laugh, dance, sin,g and have fun while discovering stories from around the world that illustrate the importance of love, generosity, peace, and friendship. Ages Pre-K thru 3rd Grade. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate! Tisha is available to teach this class at your location for a children's program or at a private party.  Call to inquire (207) 754-0931.

 

All-Levels Flow Yoga: Use the power of your breath and intention to flow through your practice in this all-levels alignment-based vinyasa class. Great for beginners who want to learn standing poses and begin a more energizing yoga practice. Gain strength and flexibility as you learn how intelligent alignment principles and an uplifting yogic philosophy can help you soar through your practice with grace, poise, and ease. Find the healthy well-being you have been looking for through yoga. You will feel great in this safe and effective all-levels class! Yoga mats and props are available for use during class. Intermediate Yoga Flow: Discover the many benefits of yoga while gaining strength, flexibility, and core balance.  Use the power of your breath and intention to flow through your practice in this alignment-based vinyasa class. Learn how intelligent alignment principles and a positive and uplifting yogic philosophy can help you soar through your practice with grace, poise, and ease.  This is an intermediate level class and more or less challenging options will be offered to support each student’s growth for a dynamic yoga practice, while maintaining the safety and integrity for each individual. Yoga mats and props are available for use during class. Tisha teaches this class at CMMC on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:15 pm.  See schedule page of the website for more information.  

Gentle Yoga: Reduce stress and gain a deeper sense of balance and calm. This slow-paced class combines easy warm-ups, light stretches, and gentle yoga postures with deep breath awareness to enhance a sense of well-being and relieve tension.  Learn meditation, breath work, and gentle therapeutic, yin, and restorative yoga poses to enhance your sense of well-being. Open, release, and relax your body in a nurturing way; feel your mind, heart, and spirit be renewed. Open to all experience and ability levels. Wear comfortable clothing.
